"We don't use pop-ups or other distracting ads on YP.Com and we don't think people should be subjected to them," said John Raven, YP Corp.'s Chief Technology Officer. Unlike some downloadable toolbars, Raven said, the YP Corp. toolbar is not spyware. It does not collect information on the user's web surfing habits or what sites have been visited. "We want to help our users, not spy on them," Raven said.
