(TSX:IQ), a leader in the Telematics industry, announces the closing of its acquisition of the business of Aircept.com, LLC, based in Irvine, California. The Company previously announced on June 21, 2004, that it had entered into a definitive agreement to complete the acquisition. The asset purchase transaction was conducted through the Company's wholly owned subsidiary AirIQ U.S., Inc.

"We are excited to be entering the third quarter with the addition of over 80,000 active subscribers, and the commensurate increase in recurring revenue of approximately CDN$5,200,000 per quarter."On closing, AirIQ delivered cash of US$5,000,000 (CDN$6,733,500) and 16,800,000 newly issued common shares of AirIQ, a portion of which are held in escrow, to Aircept.
