Systems Analysis Of The Siriraj Hospital Information System
To save you time and make our web services even easier to use, some areas of the Veracity web site allow you to create an "user name" using your personal information. The system saves your information and assigns you a unique Veracity user name. Next time you log into the client section of our web site you can simply enter your user name and passcode the system will automatically look up the information it needs.

Employees with knowledge of information systems security are now considered to be an important part of many information technology infrastructure teams. Rather than teach only the business or strategic planning side of information systems security, ITT Tech's program covers both management and technical aspects of this field. These are the kinds of skills that can be valuable in today's digital marketplace.

Most businesses today use some type of Client Management Software for keeping track of their customer information. Many are very simple systems that track basic contact information such as customer name, address, phone number, and email address. Those systems may be a card file or Rolodex, some sort of database or spreadsheet program, or software specifically designed for managing contact information. In a competitive business environment it is important to have a Client Management Software system that not only organizes the information for the contacts you work with, but also for the companies. Your Client Management Software must permit you to easily review the contact information for the people and companies you work with as well as giving you access to a history of the communication, events, and actions related to them.
Rubatex Pipe Insulation quirements including networking infrastructure, computer hardware, software, and peopleware. It is found that the networking infrastructure, especially fiber optic cable connecting network among buildings, is needed to expand for all systems. In early 1999, there are evidences showing that the SiHIS has been fully used to its existing hardware capacity, and a lot more user requirements have emerged. These factors indicate that it is time to upgrade the hardware and to implement new software for the SiHIS based upon the user friendly Graphic User Interface. Apart from the current use of the SiHIS for medical service and some hospital administration purposes, it is planned to implement to serve the medical research, education, and also data warehouse to accommodate the diagnosis related group reimbursement of healthcare expense from the government.

Rubatex 180 The usage of the SiMUC-Net is mainly for education, research and general medical service purposes. In conjunction with the IT master plan of the Mahidol University, each department of the Faculty will be provided with its own web server. Client computers will be allocated to each faculty at computer to staff ratio of 1:1 to1:3, and of the students at 1:5. The web browsers will be available in every client machine. Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) servers will be established in order to enhance self-directed learning of the medical students, and to strengthen academic competency in producing more interesting teaching materials. The electronic medical library will also be further developed as valuable resources for education, research, and service.

More Lotus Notes clients will be provided to each department for administrative purpose. General staff and students can access the SiNet by using the computers provided in the SiMUC-Net with any web browsers through the local web address of http://10.7.51.90.
Rubatex 1800 Plans for personnel development have been classified by personnel career path in order to achieve the utmost important aim at computer literacy and competency of the staff. The software training courses include Window operating systems, web browsers, E-mail, Lotus Notes, word processing, electronic spreadsheet, basic database management, and statistical packages. For teaching staff, it is expected that they will be able to produce teaching materials with electronic presentation and CAI. For technical staff, the necessary training courses will be including server maintenance, Rapid Application Development (RAD) tools, and hardware maintenance.
Rubatex 320 Data warehousing is aimed at the very final phase of the development of all systems in order to summit all the usable and valuable information to build up knowledge body which can be used for education, research, medical service, strategic management and administrative purposes. This will certainly be a great wealth of resources that will be ready for the upcoming Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) among institutions.
Rubatex 373 In conclusion, the supreme goal of the IT master plan is to achieve academic excellence, medical service excellence, and administrative excellence, in order to be one of the most advance medical schools and one of the best hospitals in the South-East Asia region.

Shoreline 13171 17 Neoprene The computerized Siriraj Hospital Information System or SiHIS has been in service for over five years and it has been fully used to its existing hardware and software capacity. This is evidenced by a noticeable increase number of users, emerging of many new software requirements, outdated computer hardware, trying to acquire hospital accreditation, changing of the organization to an autonomous organization with new financial, accounting and budget management systems. Therefore there is an emergent need of conducting systems analysis (SA) for the new SiHIS in order to serve good quality medical service, learning and teaching process, clinical research, and administration and management purposes.
Neoprene Pads The SA of the SiHIS project was responsible by the Deputy Dean Medical Informatics and staff of the Siriraj Computer Center (SCC). The project started from mid September 1999 and ended by the end of March 2000. The 23 SCC staff were divided into 5 groups taking care of 19 sub-systems details as follows:- Group 1: out-patient department, medical service welfare, diagnosis related group, medical record and statistics, and public relation; Group 2: in-patient department, operating room, labor room, nutrition department and nutrition therapy center; Group 3: pharmacy, inventory, clothing and laundry, repair and maintenance, and central sterile center; Group 4: laboratory, blood bank, and radiology; and Group 5: financial, accounting and budgeting, human resource, and social welfare.
Neoprene Seat Covers The SA was conducted in 3 phases, started by (1) identifying user requirements and problems based on the existing SiHIS, (2) analyzing the data collected and proposing alternative solutions, and (3) designing input and output of forms, computer screens and reports, and designing new databases. Gathering of user requirements and problems were done by studying the existing systems analysis done 7 years ago, interviewing users in all levels, collecting forms and reports for daily transactions, using questionnaires, and observing directly at the workplace. Users of the SiHIS could be devided into 4 user levels. Level 1 are operators for daily transactions. Level 2 are operators with authority. Level 3 are users of Management Information System (MIS), such as department heads or division heads. Level 4 are users of Executive Information System (EIS) including the Dean, Deputy Deans, and the Hospital Director. The collected data were preliminarily analyzed and systematically filed. The data were carefully categorized according to hardware, software, peopleware and workflow domains. In addition, the data were also analyzed according to user levels, workplace, sub-systems, and impact of the requirements. The requirements/problems were then prioritized before further analysis for proposing alternative solutions.
Rubber Manufacturer The validity and completeness of the collected requirement/problems were checked against the organizations mission, organization chart, existing documents in the workplace, and officers duty. The collected data were rewritten and sent back to the original organization for data validation and completeness checking. Progress of SA, such as working hours and collected documents, was tracked by a newly developed intranet sub-system.
