Breaking down on the water is frustrating. And if you don't have a tow line on board, it's that much worse, which often is the case for PWCs.
Rubatex Msds Top-Knot Mooring Systems has introduced a new tow line specifically designed for PWCs. Available in 19 colors, the 2,700-pound-tensile-strength line comes with a stainless-steel snap hook that allows quick attachment to the tow eye. The 100 percent polypropylene line comes in 10- or 15-foot lengths, and unlike three-strand twisted lines, Top-Knot's line will not untwist or unbraid from use. The line can be recoiled easily because it has no "memory." It also floats, can be stored wet and resists rot from mildew, petroleum products and most chemicals.
We carry a large line of auto safety mirrors including rear view, side view, oe replacement, towing and convex
As more states pass laws saying PWCs must be equipped with basic safety items, tow lines soon may become required gear. Suggested retail price for a 10-foot Top-Knot tow line is $14.95. For more information, call 800-TOP-KNOT, or write Top-Knot, PO Box 770, Princeville, OR 97754.
