As the narrowest poly board on the market, the 254 is a contender for the title Easiest Board to Sail in Nuclear Winds. Its poly construction gives it a smooth ride, and its relatively low ratio of surface area to weight makes it less prone than lighter boards to fly away. While this board could use a bit more scoop in the nose, and the mast track is a couple inches farther forward than we like, it can still surf sideshore waves respectably well. Given its unique qualities, we think it's best as a super-high-wind board for anyone who's concerned about control.
